Crockpot Barbecue Chicken with Chipotle
Perfect for a weeknight meal or when you’re feeding a large group of people. Carmie’s Kitchen Fire Roasted Jalapeño dip mix adds smoky chipotle flavor to the barbecue sauce for a little extra heat. Quick and easy to prepare, and delicious too!
Ingredients:
- 2 pkgs Carmie’s Kitchen Fire Roasted Jalapeno Dip anc Cheeseball Mix
- 1.5 cups barbecue sauce (we like Sweet Baby Ray’s)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1-2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 lb chicken breast, cut into chunks
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in crockpot. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
When chicken is done and tender, shred with a fork and serve warm.
We made barbecue chicken sandwiches with coleslaw but this chicken dish would be great for bbq nachos or tacos with fried onions.
Carmie’s Tip: add 2 Tbsp brown sugar for a sweeter sauce.
